Following the existing AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines, Moderna and Janssen vaccines will also start inoculation from next month, so the government's goal is to get the first dose of 13 million people in the first half of the year.
However, even if the primary goal is achieved, since three-fourths of the population is not vaccinated, it is necessary to achieve 70% inoculation rate to achieve herd immunity.
With three days left until the deadline, the pre-booking rate for the elderly is currently 68%.
