She finished sixth at the Tokyo Games in 2021, where footage of a German rider and her trainer hitting a mount sparked a horse welfare controversy that prompted the International Union of Modern Pentathlon to decide to replace in the future the riding event.
The men's World Cup final, which ends on Sunday, will be followed immediately in Ankara by a two-day test of a new discipline, obstacle course, which is among the candidates to replace the riding as the new fifth event of the modern pentathlon after Paris-2024.
A competition, on the second day, will see the pentathletes compete in parallel, by two or four, over a hundred meters where they will have to cross "monkey bars" (bars in height where one progresses at arm's length ), staggered steps, rings, curved walls, wheels, ladders and balance beams.
Long threatened with disappearing from the Olympics, modern pentathlon is not currently on the program for those of 2028, which will take place in Los Angeles.
