A man in his 50s went missing at a beach in Sinan, Jeollanam-do, and the Coast Guard is conducting a search operation.
The Mokpo Maritime Police Department received a report from a woman about 7:58 a.m. today (15th) that she could not contact her husband.
Mr. A went to the beach alone on the 12th to go kayaking, and after talking to her wife that night, contact with her was cut off.
After receiving the report, the Coast Guard dispatched guard ships and aircraft to the scene and requested cooperation with private rescue boats sailing nearby, and she found a kayak believed to belong to Mr. A.
Based on the location where the kayak was found, the Coast Guard is intensively searching the nearby waters.
