Trier (AP) - Exactly two days after the fatal rampage in Trier, there will be a minute's silence this Thursday for the victims and all those affected.

The Mayor of Trier Wolfram Leibe (SPD) calls on all Trier people to pause at 1:46 p.m. in memory of the dead and the injured.

The church bells will also ring in Trier and in many places throughout the diocese, as a spokeswoman for the diocese of Trier said.

1:46 p.m. was the time when the rampage began on Tuesday in downtown Trier.

Five people died and 18 others were injured.

On Wednesday, an arrest warrant was issued against a 51-year-old suspect, among other things for murder in five cases.
