The High Commissioner's Crime Investigation Agency closed the case in which President Yoon Seok-yeol was accused of negligently investigating the Busan Savings Bank illegal loan case in the past without judging the merits.

The Citizens' Action to Straighten Judicial Justice announced today (27th) that the Ministry of Airborne Affairs has dismissed a case in which it recently accused President Yoon, Hong-il Kim, former chief of the Central Investigation Department of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office Choi Jae-kyung, and former Central Investigation Department Park Gil-bae for neglect of special duties.

The main point of the investigation into the Busan Savings Bank is that President Yoon investigated the case as the chief prosecutor in 2011, when he was the second chief of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, and covered up the charges of those involved in the so-called Daejang-dong development.

In March, Sasehaeng filed a complaint against President Yoon and others, saying that they had fostered corruption in Daejang-dong because they did not properly investigate allegations of mediation by lawyer Nam Wook.

Sasehaeng said, "We will file a financial application for the investigation into the bankruptcy of the Busan Savings Bank, as well as file a complaint with the prosecution against the prosecutor in charge, the head of the Airborne Service, and the deputy director of the Airborne Service for negligence."
