At the meeting, Wen Ku, spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Director of the Information and Communication Development Department, introduced that in recent years, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has promoted various preferential tariff plans for enterprises, and introduced "floor price" tariffs for the needs of low-income and elderly groups Plan; to give the greatest discount to poor households who have established files and establish cards; promote the reduction of production and operation costs of enterprises and help the development of the real economy.
In the past five years, the average tariff for fixed broadband and mobile phone traffic in China has fallen by more than 95%.
The various measures benefited more than 1 billion mobile or communication users each year.
