An additional 21 million COVID-19 self-test kits that individuals can purchase at pharmacies or convenience stores will be supplied this week.

12.6 million people are expected to be supplied to screening clinics, kindergartens, and public areas such as elementary, middle and high schools.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced today (20th) in a press release that it will supply a total of 33.6 million self-test kits to the private and public sectors this week.

Private quantities that can be purchased individually are supplied to 75,000 pharmacies and convenience stores nationwide.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said that it will continue to actively cooperate with producers to increase production, and said that there is no need for individuals to excessively purchase self-test kits in advance.
