“Another strategic reconnaissance aircraft - U-2 of the US Air Force, which took off from the territory of Great Britain, was detected and accompanied by radar reconnaissance equipment over the territory of Ukraine, approaching the border of the Russian Federation at a distance of about 60 km,” the department added.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the actions of the United States in the Black Sea are related to the study of a possible theater of military operations in the preparation of Kiev for a military solution to the conflict in the Donbass.
