A thriller shot in Los Angeles confined by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Producer Michael Bay unveiled this Thursday the trailer for

Songbird

, a film directed by Adam Mason where the world is still confined four years after the start of the pandemic.

In this parallel universe, Covid-19 has mutated into Covid-23, a virus with a very high case fatality rate that kills humanity at high speed.

The feature film follows in particular the story of Nico, (KJ Apa, the star of Riverdale), a miraculously immune delivery man.

Demi Moore and Bradley Whitford complete the cast of "Songbird".

"Profiting from human suffering"

This dystopia on the pandemic has been strongly criticized on social networks.

“This #Songbird trailer made me furious… millions of people died but hey Michael Bay cashed in and made money,” reacts a user.

"I channel my electoral anxiety into anger at this stupid Michael Bay movie," wrote another.

If you see the SongBird trailer and you're not feeling well basic, don't watch it.

it is extremely anxiety-provoking.

“This is probably one of the craziest attempts to profit from human suffering.

Whoever makes this film should be ashamed, ”comments a third.

" It's too early !

We are still in the midst of the pandemic.

I want distractions, not to remember this nightmare, ”emphasizes one last.
