At least 19 people were killed and 32 injured in a bus accident in Mexico State, state authorities announced on Friday.
The bus crashed into an apartment building in the town of San Jose El Guarda (50 km southwest of Mexico City) because the brakes failed, according to authorities.
The state authorities said in a statement that the bus was on a journey from the state of Michoacan in western Mexico to the city of "Chalma", which is a religious shrine in the state of Mexico.
