Hanover (dpa / lni) - The negotiations on a new collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry in Lower Saxony are entering the fifth round today.
The employers' association Niedersachsenmetall and IG Metall want to talk about taking over the pilot degree in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Both sides welcomed the agreement in NRW last week.
The contract in the neighboring country provides for a corona premium and annual special payments: The employees in North Rhine-Westphalia will therefore receive a corona allowance of 500 euros in June 2021.
The new special payment will be paid for the first time in February 2022 in the amount of 18.4 percent of a monthly salary.
As of February 2023, this special payment will increase to 27.6 percent of the monthly salary and will then be payable annually.
