Ludwigsburg (dpa) - The basketball players from Syntainics MBC do not get beyond the role of points supplier in the Bundesliga.
The Weißenfelser lost their guest appearance at the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg on Thursday with 74:93 (35:51).
Despite the sixth defeat in a row, the Central Germans still have a six point lead as third from bottom, while the hosts consolidated their top position with their 24th win in their 26th game of the season.
Barry Brown (19), the former Weißenfelser Tremmel Darden (13) and Desi Rodriguez (11) had the largest share in the success of Ludwigsburg.
Michal Michalak (21) and Roko Rogic (12) scored the most points for the MBC.
The Weißenfelser stayed in close contact until the middle of the second quarter.
But then the big favorite set the course for victory with a 14: 1 run from 36:30 (14th) to 50:31 (19th) within five minutes and was no longer in trouble during the course of the game.
Again, the Central Germans lost too many balls (16) to make the result friendlier.
