Mauritania Pavilion Participates in the World for the First Time in "Expo 2020 Dubai"

Mauritania will participate in the Expo 2020 Dubai with a special pavilion inspired by the Bedouin character and models of beauty placed in front of the pavilion expressing its position and advantages in the history and heritage of Mauritania, and on an area of ​​​​400 square meters.

In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, Abdel Rahman Laaziz, director of the Mauritania Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, praised the UAE’s always important and prominent role in international forums and in the dissemination and exchange of cultures and knowledge through the organization of such international exhibitions that help open the way for many countries, including Mauritania. To present its experiences and the culture of its peoples and to discover its unique cultural, economic and environmental heritage in various fields.

He said that the participation of the Mauritanian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is an opportunity to meet other countries, exchange views, and present our culture and history through three concepts: "Visit Mauritania - Invest in Mauritania - Made in Mauritania."

He added that the Mauritania pavilion attracted many interested investors who were introduced to the most important commercial and investment fields in Mauritania. It also displays the most important means of transportation that contributed to human mobility and the most prominent methods and crafts such as boats and archaeological buildings, in addition to learning how to preserve the food resources on which the Mauritanian people lived in the past.
