From August 24 to 25, precipitation occurred in most of Jilin Province, heavy rain occurred in the west and south, and some towns were hit by heavy rain and heavy rain. The flood control situation suddenly escalated.
From 5:00 on August 24 to 7:00 on the 25th, the average precipitation in Jilin Province was 14.5 mm.
The top ten rainfalls are all distributed in Baicheng City, nine of which are in Taonan City under its jurisdiction, with a maximum rainfall of 150.7 mm.
It is worth noting that the Taoer River, the largest tributary on the right bank of the Nen River, flows through Taonan City.
The Dalai Hydrological Station is the last hydrological control station on the lower reaches of the Nenjiang River in Jilin Province. It is also an important national hydrological station and an international flood reporting station.
Generally speaking, floods mainly originate from rivers such as the main stream of the Nenjiang River and its tributaries, such as Nuomin River, Yalu River, Chuoer River, and Taoer River.
As of 8 o'clock on the 25th, the water level of the Dalai Hydrological Station reached 131.50 meters, with a flow of 4,720 cubic meters per second, which was close to the warning water level.
According to the Jilin Provincial Water Conservancy Department, in the past two months, about 20 reservoirs have exceeded the flood limit water level, but the water conservancy project has not appeared in danger for the time being.
Recently, the Department of Water Resources of Jilin Province issued a rolling warning of Nenjiang flood risk to Baicheng City and other places, and the relevant reservoirs are all releasing in an orderly manner.
According to the Jilin Provincial Meteorological Observatory, the heavy rainfall belts will be mainly located in eastern Inner Mongolia and western Heilongjiang today and tomorrow. There will be moderate rains in the upper and middle reaches of the Nenjiang River basin, with heavy rains in some parts, and the average rainfall in the basin is 15 mm to 30 mm.
Meteorological experts reminded that in the future, runoff caused by rainfall in the upper and middle reaches of the Nenjiang River Basin may affect the lower Jilin section of the Nenjiang River Basin (Baicheng and Songyuan). Relevant areas need to pay attention to strengthen inspections and patrols, and focus on preventing possible flood risks. Pay attention to the geological hazard risks that may occur in the mountainous area of the northwest.
At present, the Songliao Water Resources Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources and the relevant working groups of the Jilin Provincial Water Resources Department are supervising and inspecting the defense work on the front line of flood control, and are closely monitoring the rain, water conditions and project operation.
