Mansour bin Mohammed issues a decision to restructure the board of directors of "Hamdan Sports Complex"
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, issued Resolution No. 3 of 2022 restructuring the Board of Directors of the Hamdan Sports Complex, which falls under the umbrella of the Dubai Sports Council.
The first article of the decision stipulated that Ahmed Muhammad Al Shafar will chair the complex’s board of directors, name Nasser Aman Al Rahma as vice president, and that the board of directors include members: Maher Abdul Karim Julfar, Badr Ahmed Anwahi, Tariq Abdul Rahman Al Saleh.
The first article also specified the work of the Board of Directors for a period of four years, subject to renewal, and in the event that the term of membership of the members of the Board of Directors expires, and the Board of Directors has not been reconstituted, in this case the members of the Board of Directors shall continue to perform their duties until they are reappointed or new members are appointed in their place.
The decision was issued after reviewing Law No. (11) of 2009 regarding the Dubai Sports Council and its amendments, and Resolution No. (1) of 2018 regarding the restructuring of the Board of Directors of Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Sports Complex, the second article of which stipulated the application of the provisions of Resolution No. (1) For the year 2018, the Complex’s Board of Directors, formed pursuant to this Resolution, shall have the authority to exercise its powers, hold its meetings, and other related provisions.
The third article of the decision stipulates that this decision shall be implemented from the date of its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
