August 04, 2021First the victory at the Sanremo Festival, then the Eurovision Song festival and the world rankings, now the collaboration with the rock legend Iggy Pop. Måneskin's climb to success continues, among the 13 most listened to artists in the world on Spotify with more than 51 million monthly listeners and over 2.5 billion total streaming on all digital platforms. The Roman band has announced an unprecedented version of 'I Wanna be your slave' recorded together with Iggy Pop for release on Friday 6 August 2021.



Simultaneously with the digital release, a limited edition 45 rpm vinyl will also be released containing 'I wanna be your slave 'with Iggy Pop (side A) and the original track (side B).



Victoria, Damiano, Thomas and Ethan collaborate with one of the most transgressive and iconic characters in the history of contemporary music, who with the band The Stooges entered the Rock'n Roll Hall Of Fame and who recently received a Grammy Award for his outstanding career. Over the years Iggy Pop boasts unforgettable partnerships such as that with David Bowie and other milestones of music of the most diverse genres, from Simple Minds to Green Day, from Alice Cooper to New Order, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Queens of the Stone Age.

The original track of “I wanna be your slave” is contained in the album “Teatro d'Ira Vol.1”. The official video, released on July 15 with a world premiere on YouTube, garnered 22 million views in one week. For four weeks at the first position of Spotify's Top 50 Global Chart with the song 'Beggin', Måneskin - the first Italian band in history with two singles at the same time in the UK Singles Chart, currently at position # 5 and # 7 - have just announced the sold out of their first tour in the main Italian palaces to which is added the concert-event on Saturday 9 July 2022 at the Circus Maximus, created in collaboration with Rock In Roma - www.rockinroma.com. During the summer of 2021 and that of 2022 they will be on tour in the most important European festivals.



The collaboration between Måneskin and Iggy Pop was in the air after the publication on Instagram of a short video, in which the rocker greets them in Italian, accompanied by the caption: “Keep an eye on this (keep an eye on this thing)”.
