Ambulance, rescue service and helicopter were called to an address in Molkom at 5 pm on Tuesday.
A man in his 30s had been trapped under a car.
Rescue workers released the man, but the injuries were too severe.
- Resuscitation attempts were made on the spot, but his life could not be saved, says Stefan Wickberg, spokesperson for the Bergslagen Police Region.
No suspicion of crime
At the time of writing, it is unclear how the man ended up under the vehicle, but the police do not suspect any crime.

The man's relatives have been notified.
