Ennepetal (dpa / lnw) - After a corona vaccination in a vaccination center in Ennepetal in the Ennepe-Ruhr district, there was a death on Saturday.
As the authorities announced, the police are investigating.
According to a spokesman, an older man with previous illnesses had been vaccinated in the morning with the vaccine from Biontech.
Shortly thereafter, the man suffered a medical emergency in the course of which his health deteriorated so much that he died about an hour later in a hospital, it said.
At first it was still unclear whether there was a causal connection with the vaccination, said the Ennepe-Ruhr district on Saturday.
