A man was arrested in Paris this Friday evening, after trying to climb the Montparnasse Tower with his bare hands, we learned from a police source.
The man was arrested around 8 p.m. at the top of the Tower, according to one of the
20 Minutes
journalists
present at the foot of the tower, located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
The man, whose identity has not been revealed, is a Pole, who introduced himself as a tourist, according to a police source.
According to our journalist, it would be a young Polish man, known on Instagram for his exploits.

He had started to climb the building in the early evening, with his bare hands and without any device to ensure himself.
Police officers from the Intervention and Protection Group (GIP) rappelled down when he was halfway there.
The man was eventually arrested after his ascent was completed.
