The Madrid hymn, which almost never sounds, is a poem written in 1983 by a Zamorano, Agustín García Calvo, a giant thinker who closed the deal of writing the lyrics (the music is by the composer Pablo Sorozábal Jr.) in a free buffet feeder where he cited the Mayor of Madrid, Doctor of Philosophy, Enrique Tierno Galván. Hymns are dangerous, but this one came out well because it is not intended to activate two hymn hormones : adrenaline and endorphins. It is not a text made to be drawn when the homeland is in danger.
