President Moon Jae-in is having a luncheon with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Busan Mayor Park Hyeong-jun, who were elected in the last 4.7 by-election at Sangchunjae in the Blue House at 12:00 noon on the 21st.

At today's luncheon meeting, President Moon will congratulate the inauguration of the two mayors and will discuss various topics such as current issues in Seoul and Busan City, COVID-19 quarantine, recovery of people's livelihood and economic recovery, and stable housing for the common people.

Both mayors belong to the people's strength, and it is extremely unusual for President Moon to have a luncheon inviting only members of the opposition party.

It is known that at the will of President Moon, Mayor Oh and Mayor Park were invited, and the two mayors were willing to respond.

Blue House spokesman Park Gyeong-mi explained that it was decided that it was important to work together head-to-head with the heads of local governments belonging to the opposition party on current issues in Seoul and Busan.

Today's meeting is attended by Secretary General Yoo Young-min and Jung Moo-hee Lee.

Earlier, President Moon Jae-in said at a senior advisor's meeting on the 19th that he asked for efforts to communicate and cooperate with the opposition party, and that he hopes to establish a special cooperation system with the local government, where the head of the group was changed by the election.
