Christophe Galtier is forced to raise his voice. The Lille football club coach revealed on Saturday that three of his players have tested positive for coronavirus: Renato Sanches, Jonathan Ikoné and Jonathan Bamba. He therefore called for more serious respect for barrier gestures.

Victory (2-1) against the Belgian club Mouscron

“Sanches, Bamba, Ikoné were caught by the patrol, that is to say caught by the Covid-19. They are at home, we hope they will come back soon. They are followed every day, "explained Galtier after the friendly victory (2-1) on the lawn of Mouscron (Belgian D1), won in the absence of the three positive players. "Tests were done Monday after the resumption, after the cut of eight days, and they contracted the virus. They are at home isolated, the players are doing well but we are waiting to see the next tests, "said the northern technician.

Sanches, who returned to Portugal during the week off, had symptoms and tested positive there, said Galtier: "Renato is still in Portugal and he cannot travel yet because he has to pass two tests negative to be able to travel. " Regarding Bamba and Ikoné, Galtier was more optimistic about a quick return to the Domaine de Luchin: "They should return to training on Monday," he hopes.

Galtier gets angry at the behavior of the French

The Lille coach took the opportunity to push a rant about the behavior of the French, because he made him fear a second wave of contamination. "I had eight days of rest and I saw how we behave ... Let's continue like this and we will all be reconfigured and it will be a mess. Has the state to be firm. With us we must ban. We must not advocate, we must prohibit, "he said. "You have to be firmer in decision-making, and greater individual responsibility to respect barrier gestures," he insisted.
