Pourvu que la mastication is not long,

a documented fiction on police blunders in our current societies, which is based on a real fact: that of the death of Amadou Diallo, a 23-year-old Guinean who was shot 41 times in the Bronx on February 4, 1999 by four New York police officers who were subsequently acquitted.

When his body was repatriated to Guinea, Hakim Bah was then 12 years old.
