Concern is huge around Christian Eriksen.

The star player from Denmark suffered serious discomfort during the Euro match against Finland late Saturday afternoon.

The Inter Milan attacking midfielder was taken care of by a medical team, who performed cardiac massage for long minutes on the lawn of the Parken Stadion in Copenhagen, before being evacuated.

Terrible images which led to the interruption of the meeting.

Earlier today, Wales and Switzerland drew (1-1).

But football seems to be incidental to this drama.

Information to remember:

Switzerland held in check by Wales

Despite overall domination, Switzerland conceded a draw (1-1) against Wales in Baku in Group A. The Swiss opened the scoring by Embolo in the 49th, before Moore's equalizer by valiant Welshmen a quarter of an hour from the end (74th).

The "Nati" thought they would win in the final minutes, but Gavranovic's goal was canceled for an offside (85th).

Embolo was even close to a double, but Welsh goalkeeper Ward deflected the Swiss striker's header with his fingertips in the 90th.

Wales will face Turkey, clearly beaten Friday night by Italy (3-0), Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Switzerland will challenge Italy the same at 9 p.m. in Rome.

6 p.m .: Denmark-Finland

In the other group B meeting, Christian Eriksen's Denmark, who will have the advantage of playing all three of their matches in Copenhagen, faces Finland, who have qualified for the first Euro in their history. This historic qualification, the Finns owe it in large part to their star, Teemu Pukki. The 31-year-old forward has scored 10 of Finland's 16 goals in the qualifiers. He is the great hope of the Finnish people for the Euro, from the top of his 30 goals scored in 90 caps. Pukki is also coming off a big season with his club Norwich City, which he brought back to the Premier League thanks to his 26 goals. He can count on a solid Finnish team defensively.

For its part, Denmark hopes to benefit from the regained rhythm of its leader Christian Eriksen, revived by his good end of the season at Inter Milan and the title of champion of Italy.

Denmark, which in preparation won a happy draw against Germany (1-1) before dominating Bosnia (2-0), seems to have the means to play one of the first two places with the Red Devils.

9 p.m .: Belgium-Russia

Many eyes will be on the Red Devils returning to St. Petersburg, where their World Cup left off three years ago in the semi-finals. The competition for the Red Devils will therefore be relative for this first round. Especially since only eight teams (out of 24) will be eliminated at the end of it. Only the announced absence of Kevin De Bruyne, who did not make the trip to Saint Petersburg, and the very uncertain tenure of their captain Eden Hazard, hit in a thigh, can cause fear of a Russian miss.

Still, even without its two stars in the city of the tsars, Belgium can count on Romelu Lukaku. Champion of Italy with Inter, the Belgian colossus is the most decisive player in Serie A this season with 24 goals and 10 assists. This makes Russian captain Artem Dzyuba, quarter-finalist of his World Cup at home in 2018, say that "the Belgians remain the favorites".
