Catalonia and Australia reconfigure 

The region of Catalonia on Saturday ordered the confinement of an area comprising some 200,000 inhabitants, around Lerida in the northeast of Spain, due to the multiplication of cases of contagion. Groupings of more than ten people are prohibited and visits to retirement homes are suspended. This reconfiguration coincides with the reopening of the borders on Saturday to nationals of 12 new countries.

In Australia, the authorities have also decided to reintroduce measures. Thousands of Melbourne residents, living in several buildings in the north of the city, will have to remain confined to their homes for at least five days starting on Saturday, after the discovery of 108 new cases in the state of Victoria (south- is), a record daily increase for months in Australia. The United States celebrated a high-risk national holiday on Saturday after a new record number of infections the day before. The American celebrations of July 4, Independence Day, traditionally marked by parades, marching bands, barbecues and large fireworks in a friendly atmosphere have been revised downward across the country. By far the hardest hit country with 2.8 million cases and at least 129,584 deaths, the United States recorded 57,683 new infections on Friday, according to Johns Hopkins University counts, a record level since the start of the pandemic.
South and West are facing an outbreak that "puts the whole country at risk," according to Anthony Fauci, director of the United States Institute of Infectious Diseases. In Florida (southeast), a new daily record of contaminations was broken on Saturday (+11,458 patients).

29,893 dead in France
