In a few hours, France will begin a new phase of deconfinement. Sunday, the Secretary of State for Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebarri presented the new measures which will come into force on Tuesday in public transport, to the SNCF and the RATP in particular. Armed vigil for bars and restaurants
The long awaited moment for the restaurant industry is approaching. Cafes and restaurants are preparing to welcome their first customers on Tuesday for more than two months. After weeks of forced closure due to coronavirus, bars, cafes and green areas are authorized to reopen on June 2, with strict sanitary rules: maximum ten people per table, at least one meter between each group, standing consumption prohibited in bars.
In Ile-de-France, Mayotte and Guyana, always on the alert orange, only the terraces can reopen. In Paris, the town hall has announced that bars, cafes and restaurants could extend free of charge over part of the public space, sidewalks, parking spaces or even a few streets closed to traffic.
Epidemic reflux is confirmed
At the same time, the epidemic reflux is confirmed day by day, with a further drop in resuscitation and hospitalizations, according to the latest assessment given on Sunday. The balance remains negative in intensive care, with 6 fewer serious cases, or 1,319 in total. The trend is the same for hospitalizations with 68 fewer cases, or 14,322 in total.
Authorities also reported 31 deaths in 24 hours at the hospital. In all, 18,475 people died in hospitals. Data on deaths in social and medico-social establishments will be updated on Tuesday. In total, the Covid-19 killed 28,802 people in France.

Over 370,000 dead worldwide, Brazil worried
The Covid-19 pandemic has killed at least 370,261 people worldwide since its onset in December in China, according to a report by AFP. The United States is the most affected country in terms of both death and case numbers, with 104,051 deaths for 1,778,515 cases. This is followed by the United Kingdom with 38,489 deaths, Italy (33,415), Brazil (28,834) and France (28,802).
The situation is particularly worrying in Brazil, where the death toll is approaching 29,000. The South American giant is now approaching 500,000 cases, the second highest total in the world. Meanwhile, President Jair Bolsonaro, firmly opposed to containment measures, participated in a rally on Sunday with his supporters, once again defying health standards and rules of social distancing.
