This Hong Kong-related national security legislation is a constitutional responsibility exercised by the central government and a manifestation of loving Hong Kong.
Regarding the US side's claim that it will take so-called "sanctions" measures against the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Lin Zhengyue said that this is totally intimidation. The so-called sanctions are groundless. Hong Kong’s unique status comes from "one country, two systems" and comes from the Basic Law. The so-called foreign sanctions will not affect Hong Kong.
