Lille easily won against Lens on Friday night (3-0), thanks in particular to a brace from Burak Yilmaz.

Lille won the North derby and put pressure on Paris in the title race.

They are now four points ahead of PSG who face Rennes on Sunday. 

The suspense did not really last Friday night, for the first match of the 36th day of Ligue 1. Lille beat Lens (3-0) and won the North derby.

Burak Yilmaz opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 4th minute of the game.

The Turk doubled down in the 40th.

Well helped by the expulsion of Clément Michelin (35th), the LOSC drove the point home with a goal signed Jonathan David.

Thanks to this victory, Lille takes four points ahead of PSG, who will travel to Rennes on Sunday (9 p.m.).

A very good result for Lille in the title race.

They are putting pressure on Paris.
