Light demonstration in the German Church in Karlskrona against violence against women

- The light demonstration is to remember all women who have been killed in close relationships.

We want to draw attention to the fact that this is a big problem and we want to spread knowledge and information, says Heidi Melbye, business developer at Social Services in Karlskrona.

The light demonstration is part of a larger annual initiative called "A week free from violence" which is observed around the country throughout the week.

In Blekinge, the theme for the week this year is "Violence in young people's relationships".

Next week, lectures on the theme will therefore be held for ninth graders throughout Blekinge.
