Muscular versions of the Audi A3 are coming, both in Sportback and Sedan. Compared to the previous models, the new S3 have more generous dimensions: the Sportback and the Sedan are respectively 3 and 4 centimeters in length, as well as 3 cm in width. The S3 are also distinguished from the other A3s by their grille and generous honeycomb air intakes, by the large rear diffuser or by the four exhaust outlets.
New quattro system
Under the hood, a 2.0 TFSI which will send 310 horsepower to all four wheels via a 7-speed S tronic double-clutch automatic gearbox. The S3 also inaugurates a revised quattro transmission, capable of returning up to 100% of the torque to the rear axle depending on the conditions (no drift mode, everything is managed automatically), thus allowing the S3 to pivot more easily in bends. , therefore to be even more dynamic.
Marketing will be launched in early September, at a base price of € 55,900 for the S3 Sportback and € 56,450 for the S3 Sedan.
