More people have lost their jobs during the corona pandemic at the same time as the Swedish Public Employment Service has reduced its physical meetings. Jobseekers that SVT spoke to experience that it has become more difficult to get in touch with their administrator via email and telephone, compared with before the pandemic when they could meet their administrator on site.
When Arbetsförmedlingen opens at eight o'clock, there is already a long queue along Stora gatan in Västerås. One of those who would rather visit the office than sit at home and call is Leila Jama.
