Lego announced on Thursday that it will be releasing a new set of its famous rainbow-colored bricks to celebrate the LGBTQIA + community and diversity.

The new collection consists of 11 monochrome figurines.

Each has a different hairstyle and its own color.

The toy maker kit is called “Everyone's Awesome” and will be available from June 1, the first day of Pride Month.

Take example from children

“I wanted to create a model that symbolizes inclusiveness and celebrates everyone, regardless of who they are or who they love,” said kit designer and Lego vice president Matthew Ashton.

“Being part of the LGBTQIA + community myself, I knew I had to take responsibility.

"

Lego, a contraction of the Danish “plays well” (“Leg godt”), regularly reminds us that inclusion is one of its fundamental values.

“Children welcome everyone with open arms without distinction,” said Matthew Ashton, adding that the new set is also aimed at adults.

“We should all learn from them.
