A plenary session for the public and private sectors to work together to provide a seamless response to women suffering from sexual crimes, domestic violence, and poverty, while clearly stating the responsibilities of national and local government support. A law including the establishment of a domestic violence was passed and passed unanimously at the plenary session of the House of Representatives.

The law stipulates the responsibilities of national and local governments to strengthen support for women suffering from difficult problems such as sex crimes, domestic violence, and poverty, and sets the basic policy for the national government to prefectures. Mandates a basic plan.

In addition, in order for the public and private sectors to work together to provide a seamless response, we have set up a "support coordination meeting" created by the parties concerned in each local government to discuss specific support content and the conventional "women's counseling center". Is changed to "Women's Counseling Support Center", and it includes temporary protection, mental and physical care, and independence support.

This law was compiled by the bipartisan parliamentary federation, saying that the support for women that had been implemented based on the Prostitution Prevention Law enacted in 1956 was insufficient, and passed the House of Councilors last month on the 19th. As a result of the vote at the plenary session of the House of Representatives, it was unanimously approved and approved.

This law, with some exceptions, will come into force again in April next year.
