Regarding the letter from Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder (CDU) and Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) to the other state leaders, Laschet said: "We shouldn't give other colleagues, some with lower incidence values, recommendations on what to do."
In the letter, Söder and Kretschmann demand a strict anti-corona policy with a consistent implementation of the emergency brake in hotspots, including night exit restrictions.
