It is dressed in a bright sky blue dress that the Aventador and its V12 engine said goodbye this week.

The very last example of the model was purchased in Switzerland.

With more than 11,000 units sold worldwide and eight versions developed since 2011, the Aventador has long assumed its role as the brand's flagship.

Its 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds and its 770 horsepower will be missed by the automotive scene.

Make way for the hybrid

A well-deserved retirement for this legendary car, but Lamborghini has no shortage of projects.

The Aventador will be replaced by hybrid models by 2024. We can't wait to find out.
