TF1 and the group Mediapro, new broadcaster of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, have concluded a partnership which will ultimately lead to the creation of a new channel in France, "Telefoot" (like the show, yes) . The two sides announced it in a press release on Tuesday.

In addition to the use of the Telefoot brand, this partnership provides that TF1 will supply magazines to the channel, and its emblematic duo of commentators, Grégoire Margotton and Bixente Lizarazu, will officiate on the Mediapro channel for around 20 L1 matches broadcast on Sundays evening, including the "10 most beautiful posters of the season", specify the two groups.
