Neither the Paris superstar SG Neymar, nor the Marseillais Alvaro Gonzalez, accused of having made discriminatory remarks during the stormy PSG-OM of September 13, were sanctioned by the disciplinary commission, announced the League (LFP) Wednesday.

The Brazilian was accused of having exchanged homophobic and racist remarks towards Alvaro Gonzalez and the other Marseille defender Hiroki Sakai, but the disciplinary committee found an "unreliability" of the expert report, and an absence of "correlation "between the hearings of the two players and the conclusions of this report, according to its president Sébastien Deneux.

"The Commission notes that it does not have sufficient convincing evidence allowing it to establish the materiality of the facts of statements of a discriminatory nature", explained the League in a press release.

During a conference call, Sébastien Deneux also insisted on the "doubts" born of the reliability of the techniques of lip expertise, saying that the conclusions were "too random and did not constitute a sufficiently tangible element" to sanction the players.

"The decisions are always commented on, and this one will be too. But there are no fears, it is more serious to have given all the means to shed light on that", he said. he adds.

These decisions put an end to several weeks of media jousting between the two clubs, both stepped up to defend their player since the Ligue 1 "Classic" on September 13, ended between fights, bad gestures and exclusions.

Neymar had accused Alvaro of having called him a "monkey" ("mono" in Spanish).

OM responded by letting it be known that they had images of Neymar uttering a racist insult to Japanese Hiroki Sakai, according to a source close to the club to AFP.

A Spanish channel had also assured that "Ney" had uttered homophobic insults against Alvaro.

The decision of the disciplinary committee closes a file open for two weeks, with three waves of sanctions.

The first concerned the Marseillais Jordan Amavi (3 matches) and Dario Benedetto (1 match), and the Parisians Layvin Kurzawa (6 matches), Leandro Paredes (2 matches closed plus one suspended) as well as Neymar, already (2 matches closed) plus a suspended sentence).

The second pinned Angel Di Maria (4 matches) for a spit in the direction of Alvaro Gonzalez.
