Stade Rennais missed the opportunity to temporarily take the lead in Ligue 1 on its own by conceding at home its first defeat of the season against Angers (1-2), Friday evening at the opening of the 8th day.
The Breton club thus remains 3rd on equal points (15) with PSG (2nd), which hosts Dijon on Saturday, and two lengths from Lille the leader, who plays in Nice on Sunday.
The Rennais opened the scoring by Adrien Hunou (18th), then Sofiane Boufal (27th) and Angelo Fulgini 57th) scored for Angers, from 11th to 6th provisional place (13 pts).
