Kumamoto City announced that it has been confirmed that two men and women in their 40s are infected with the new coronavirus.
Infection was confirmed in women in their 40s in Chuo Ward and men in their 40s in Minami Ward.
This brings the total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture to 877.
