“My personal opinion is that we will stay somewhere close to where we are now until the end of 2021,” TASS quotes Kudrin's comment on the ruble exchange rate for the near future.

The head of the Accounts Chamber noted that "it is a thankless thing to predict the ruble exchange rate."

He also stated that "if you have small savings, then in general you can remain in rubles for now if you turn to these funds."

“If you can save these funds, you have planned to keep them for more than a year and a half, then it is better to diversify: leave part in rubles, leave part in foreign currency,” Kudrin said.

Earlier, economist Vladislav Zhukovsky, a member of the Presidium of the Stolypin Club, said in an interview with the NSN that the closer the date of the US presidential election (November 3), the more the Russian currency can move to 80-82 rubles per dollar.
