According to him, the Russian economy will work fine.

According to him, at present, a number of industries have lost 90-100% of consumers, the demand for their products or services.

Kudrin said that the IMF predicts a decline in Russia in the amount of more than 5% of GDP. At the same time, he emphasized that Russia is "very strongly connected with the world."

“Therefore, the [decline] from 7% to 8% - [this] today is probably a clearer orientation, clearer numbers that you can focus on,” Kudrin added.

In March, Kudrin announced an unprecedented crisis due to coronavirus.
