▲ One-person protest by a professor at Kookmin University on the 17th, calling for a re-examination of Kim Kun-hee's doctoral thesis


Kookmin University University Council will hold its 6th meeting tomorrow (28th) to discuss issues related to the suspicion of the doctoral thesis of Kim Kun-hee, wife of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.



Professor A, a member of Kookmin University's University Council, said in a press call today, "Regarding Kim's thesis, he will come up to the meeting in the form of other agendas, not official ones."



However, he said, "The details of the agenda, such as whether to request a re-investigation of Kim's thesis, have not been finalized."



A meeting of the council is held only when a majority of the members present, and the deliberation and resolution of the agenda is made with the consent of a majority of the members present.



Minutes of the meeting will be published on the school website within 10 days from the day following the meeting.



Previously, on the 10th, Kookmin University's Research Ethics Committee decided that the statute of limitations expired in response to Kim's allegations of thesis fraud according to the rule that 'reports received after 5 years of research misconduct by August 31, 2012 will not be processed'. He said he would not conduct this investigation.
