North Korea, which is conducting a plenary meeting of the Workers' Party of Korea, announced its position on relations with the US on the third day of yesterday's meeting.

In a speech delivered at the plenary meeting, General Secretary Kim Jong-un said, "We must be prepared for both dialogue and confrontation" in order to guarantee North Korea's interests in independent development and national security.

In particular, General Secretary Kim emphasized that he would not yield to pressure from the United States, stating that "we must be more thorough in preparing for the confrontation."

However, General Secretary Kim also said, "We should focus on stably managing the situation on the Korean Peninsula while responding to the ever-changing situation promptly."

Rather than taking a provocation right away, it seems to mean that they will look for a way to respond in the future while examining the international situation.

North Korean media reported that Kim Jong-un analyzed in detail the direction of the new administration's North Korea policy and specified the strategy, tactical response and action plan to be maintained in future relations with the United States.

North Korea has been continuing the Labor Party plenary meeting since the 15th, and it is expected that the plenary meeting will continue today, saying, "The meeting will continue."
