Keidanren requests member companies to maintain employment of dispatched workers New Corona 1:29 on May 29

As the employment environment has become more severe due to the spread of the new coronavirus, Keidanren has requested member companies accepting temporary workers to renew their contracts as much as possible to maintain their employment.

Keidanren notified member companies at the request of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, while many companies seem to decide whether to renew their dispatch contracts at the end of this month.

As a result, companies accepting dispatched workers are seeking to renew their contracts whenever possible.

In addition, if the contract is unavoidably unavoidable, new employment opportunities will be secured, including for affiliated companies, and dispatched workers in employee dormitories will be hindered in the next job hunting activities. We request that due consideration be given to the lives of those who leave the company, such as allowing them to move in for a certain period so that they do not occur.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the number of people who have been dismissed or stopped due to the deterioration of management at work with the spread of infection exceeds 10,000 people nationwide including prospects.

Keidanren says, "It is expected that the difficult economic situation will continue in the future, but we want member companies to continue their employment, including temporary workers."
