On October 12th, local time, the week-long Kazakhstan "Russian Culture Day" series of activities kicked off in the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur Sultan.

  The Culture Day is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan.

On the same day, the "Vologda Lace Exhibition" held at the National Museum of Kazakhstan was the opening "first show" of the Russian Culture Day, and many people came to watch it.

  Vologda is known as the lace capital of Russia and is known for its handmade lace products.

More than 50 works of art woven by local craftsmen were exhibited on site that day.

Lace tablecloths, napkins, and exquisite clothing are all made with traditional weaving techniques in the Vologda region.

  Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Yalilova Olga, Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Nurkissa Daryezov, and Director of the National Museum of Kazakhstan, Muhamediure, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
