Barring a last-minute twist, Kanye West won't be at Coachella this year.
The rapper was one of the headliners of the Californian festival, but according to TMZ (then
Variety
, then Pitchfork), he decided at the last moment not to come, without giving an explanation.
Much criticized after attacking Pete Davidson, the new companion of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye West has been discreet for several days.
TMZ, which is always on the lookout, also specifies that he has not been seen in public since March 27, when he attended, with the reality TV star, a football match of their Holy son.
Why ?
No official reason has yet been announced and the festival has not communicated on the subject either.
If according to

, Kanye West would not have prepared his show at all, CNN suggests that his stormy divorce from Kim Kardashian would be the reason.
The American news channel quotes a "source close" to the rapper contacted yesterday.
Coachella headliners are now Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Swedish House Mafia, who could take over Kanye West's place in the schedule.
The band had no set date for the festival.
Travis Scott, who hasn't played on a major stage since last year's Astroworld tragedy, is also among the possible replacements, although it remains unlikely.
He was to perform at Coachella until the accident, which caused the death of a dozen spectators, forced the organizers to replace him.
Nevertheless, many fans have signed a petition to demand that he be reinstated to the lineup.
