Judge García Castellón archives the accusation of Ignacio Sánchez Galán in the 'Villarejo case'

The head of the Central Court of Instruction Number 6 of the National Court,

, has issued this Thursday an order where he decrees the file of the open investigation in the framework of the Villarejo case for the president of Iberdrola

According to legal sources reported to EL MUNDO, the instructor dictates the free dismissal of the evidence against Galán but keeps piece number 17 of the Tandem case open.

The magistrate appreciates indications of crimes in the director's actions but considers that they would be prescribed.

Sánchez Galán was being investigated for crimes of bribery, false documents and against privacy for the orders of the electric company to the retired commissioner José Manuel Villarejo.
