Jordan .. Hamza bin Al Hussein gives up the title of "Prince" .. and reveals the reason

The former Jordanian Crown Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein, half-brother of King Abdullah II, announced that he had decided to give up the title of prince.

Prince Hamzah announced this decision in a message published today, Sunday, on his account on the “Twitter” website, saying that, “after what he touched and witnessed in recent years,” he came to the conclusion that “his personal conviction and the constants that his father instilled in him” are not in line with “the approaches and trends.” and modern methods of our institutions.

And he continued: "For the sake of honesty to God and conscience, I see nothing but arrogance and abandonment of the title of prince."

He pledged that he "will always remain loyal to Jordan" and "will continue as much as he can in his private life to serve his country and people and the message of his fathers and grandfathers."

Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein had apologized to Jordan's King Abdullah II for the events of the "sedition" case, saying: "I apologize to the Jordanian people and our family for all these actions."
