Gymnastics superstar Simone Biles admitted on Friday that she was struggling "literally on every apparatus", reinforcing doubts over her participation in the Olympic Games apparatus finals from Sunday in Tokyo.

Biles withdrew in the middle of the all-around team final on Tuesday, explaining that she had to "face her demons", and gave up the defense of her Olympic all-around title the next day.

In addition to these psychological torments, Biles also mentioned a loss of landmarks in space, what gymnasts call "loss of figure", which can be reinforced or caused by stress and above all endanger an athlete.

In a video posted to Instagram during practice Friday, we see her land on her back on pads at the end of her movements.

"It had never happened to me before on bars and beam, it was just floor and vault. But this time around, it's literally on every apparatus. And it really sucks," Biles explained on his Instagram account.

"It didn't happen to me until I left the United States. It started by chance just after qualifying," she added.

At the end of the qualifications, Biles qualified for the finals of the four apparatuses, but her problems of benchmarks in space cast doubt on her presence on Sunday on vault and uneven bars, Monday on floor and Tuesday on beam.

“Seriously, I don't understand how to do twists. Weirdest, weirdest feeling. It's honestly petrifying to try to make a move but not having mind and body in sync,” a- she estimated.

“To those who say I'm giving up. I'm not giving up, my mind and body are just not in sync, as you can see here,” she insisted.

"I don't think you realize how dangerous it is on hard surfaces, or why I put health first. Physical health is mental health," she concluded.
