On April 1, Jiangxi officially entered the main flood season.

At 10:00 on April 2, the water level at the Hukou Station of Poyang Lake reached 13.01 meters.

Affected by the recent rainfall, the water level of Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake, stopped falling and rose again, which was basically the same as the same period of the year.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological and Hydrological Department, this year's flood season in Jiangxi Province has uneven spatial and temporal distribution of precipitation, with concentrated rainfall periods and more severe convective weather than normal. Some rivers may experience major floods, and some tributaries and small and medium-sized rivers may experience major floods.
